I am starting to pick to activities that I will incorporate into my schedule for this camp. I picked activities that will teach these students about changes happening in their local environment and things they can do to help. During the internship I was able to see the business side of the organization because I was shown the amount of campers needed to make a profit on each camp. The camps and other hosted events bring in revenue for the Navarre Beach Marine Science Station nonprofit. Having the right number of camper means if it is going to making money or costing money. It was an interesting side of this organization, it showed me what it takes to run a place like this. Both the nonprofit and for profit must work together in order for the organization to stay afloat.
