Final Days at INIE

I think that we can all agree that this semester has been anything but expected. At the beginning of the semester, I could tell that I was in for a rocky road ahead, but little did I think we would end up here. However, despite all the ups and downs, I gained invaluable lessons throughout my time at INIE, and it is an experience I would never regret.

Throughout my time here, I have been able to grow not only my communication and marketing skills but my professional skills as well. My time at INIE has provided me with an abundance of content to add to my design portfolio from digital designs such as the website redesign to print materials including pamphlets and flyers. Additionally, my ongoing work with INIE’s social enterprise incubator program has given me a deeper knowledge of the civil sector and I now have the skills and understanding to carry out projects of this scale in the future. My work on this incubator has directly influenced the potential project that I will be working on in my new graduate program.

As my time at INIE comes to end, I am finishing up work on the website redesign and preparing all materials for the incubator so that the next intern will have a smooth transition. I hope that beyond my involvement, this incubator becomes a successful program that cultivates a growing network of social entrepreneurs in the Tallahassee community.
