Lights. Camera. Action!

Wow! It is already halfway through the semester and production is all going as scheduled. So far I have been able to keep on schedule and do everything that was in my work plan. I have a few interviews that are going to be filmed next week and I am meeting with Connections First to plan their first video on Monday 3/9/20. I am also, in the middle of editing a Skill-Building video on "Finding Your Purpose & Cultivating Your Network" as I am typing this blog post right now!

However, It has not all been smooth! It would be a lie if I didn't say I was not struggling to keep up with everything and was not a little overwhelmed. I think the biggest thing that I have learned so far from my internship is learning how to deal with scheduling, time management, and how to basically manage a one-man band setup effectively.

Overall, these videos are being made to create impact for nonprofit organizations and to benefit the SIE Program in getting students to see all the wonder things that are happening in the program. I am shooting content for this internship at 3-5 times a week and it was been a wonderful learning experience. I am extremely excited to finish up creating the bigger videos I am creating because I want to see the impact that it can create. This has been a wonderful skill building and learning experience and I can't wait to finish strong!
